...but it got easier lately! I worked my ass off for a year and did about 200 classes during that time. Those classes were almost always so hard, challenging, grueling, etc, and I often thought how could I stick with it much longer? But the last 2 or 3 weeks I have to say that I have really found the classes to be more enjoyable, easier and even relaxing. I am still trying as hard as before (and continue to make progress in each pose) but I think I learned how to stay more relaxed and something just changed. As a result I have gone from ~4 classes a week to 5 or 6 classes a week. I really miss it if I don't go. Who knows what will happen with future classes as they are all different. But I thought this experience was worth sharing for people who are just starting. It actually can get easier!

Hey Bent,
I totally hear you! The same thing has been happening to me lately. Once I hit the one-year mark, something just... changed. I don't know if my body's changed, or if I'm just easier on myself mentally and thus don't get so worked up during class. I'm able to just be in the moment, the posture, the heat, and have so much less judgment about it. Whatever the cause is, I'll take it! Actually enjoying a class? What is this?!

I find that if I relax during the first breathing exercise, the class is easier!
