Subject: Humidifier in Studio

Hello Good Birkramites!

I have and issue with the humidfier the owner/teacher has put in the studio.
We already live in a very humid climate, surrounded by ocean and bay at the end of a peninsula. The humidity level in the room is much higher then the 40 to 47 % Bikram prescribes in his guidelines. I dont think we could get that low even if we put a de-humidfier in the room.

I do have some ( alot) of arthritis in my hips and knees. Not only concerned about that but of respiratory problems I feel may arise in the studio from continuous moisture (other then evaporating sweat) in the room.

What do you all think?

Happy and Harmoniously

Ive used one and my verdict is....... it LOWERS the heat a lot. humidifiers blow cool air so due to that I found them not very efficient unless you are in a very small space. I felt very cool but still with the effect of sweating. this was just my experience
