If there are "insiders" then they are not sharing their info with Mike and I....

Since the meeting at Bikram and Rajashree's home, where it was agreed upon to toss the original fdd and create something that everyone could live with, we've not heard a peep. I personally choose to believe that it's going to take some time to come up with a new and improved "next step" and that's what the silence is about. We have teachers on our staff ready, willing and desperate to open their own schools, waiting for over a year now, so this is affecting us here in Houston as well.

It's one of those times when i remind myself that nothing lasts forever, that there will be a next step. And beyond the surface of the yoga, beyond the physical postures, are the teachings that I find helpful, especially at times like this: faith, self control, determination, concentration, and most especially right now.... patience.

I wish I had more to share, but we're all in the same boat right now. I'm reminded of a quote by St. Thomas of Aquinas (I believe) who said "the only way to acquire faith is through situations that require it". Boy is that the truth!
