Subject: What's the name of this breathing exercise?

Namaste! We was at Snatam Kaur concert in Warsaw recently. I really love her voice, she's like angel She showed a pramayama exercise from Kundalini yoga and did it with all public, that was really nice. This exercise goes like this:
-sit on chair with back straight
-move your hands up next to head with inner side of hands to the front
-exhale strongly through mouth and twist hands back in the same moment
-while inhaling twist hand back to front (focus only on exhaling, inhaling is done "automatically")
There is also second version, the only difference is that you move one of your hands to the front (like you pounch somebody) during exhalation then take back while inhaling and the same with the other hand.
At evening I did some different kundalini exercises too. After this some strange things happended. We had a quarrel with my girlfriend, i couldn't sleep, I had a strong cramp in a calf, which is NOT usual for me. Aldought I coulnd't sleep, the next day I was totally rested, which is also STRANGE.
This was lesson for me to have respect for kundalini and not to overstrain.
Does anybody know the name of these breathing exercises? Some links might be helpfull too.
Thanks
