So it is know that at Ghosh's yoga college it was about more then just yoga. Ghosh also was a proponent of weight training and muscle control exercises.

Here is a link to a book he wrote on the subject. try the muscle contraction exercises. They actually work well. Try not to get caught up like you are a weight lifter posing. :-)

Oooh, yea, I read that one earlier this year. (I think it got passed around FB in July on "bishnu ghosh day.") Anyway, those pictures of the banhdas are SO cool. Although I read all the descriptions and I still can't do them - haha. The only one that I ever used to be able to do consistently is the "obliquus abdominus" one, and it says you're supposed to fast for 20 hours before you do tHAT - oops!?
