Subject: Mexican Blankets as a Mat

I have a question. I sweat a lot and I was thinking about getting a Mexican blanket and using it as a mat for Bikram. I have a rubber one now and I just hate how my skin sticks to it while I slip at the same time. I found some really affordable ones at http://www.yogaaccessories.com. Does anyone have advice about the Mexican blanket as a mat?

Have you tried laying a towel over your mat?
