Subject: Ashtanga retreats/holidays

Does anyone have any recommendations or places to avoid for ashtanga retreats/holidays? I'm wanting to go for about 2 weeks in September, and do not mind where, but am aware there are so many organisations out there, many of whom seem to just be capatalising on the popularity of yoga at the moment.

I'd therefore really appreciate some feedback from anyone who has had a good or bad experience to help narrow down the choices.

I have been practising for about 3 years now, so do not want a complete beginners course.

Many thanks

I can highly recommend Yoga Thailand on Koh Samui where Paul Dallaghan has a retreat. I'm not sure what they have running in September but it's a great Ashtanga centre. check out www.yoga-thailand.com I've been twice and it's a great place. If you can get to Thailand of course!
