Subject: Resveratrol Supplement

Resveratrol is a potent antioxidant that is found in the skin of certain plants such as red grapes, raspberries, mulberries, blueberries, cranberries and red wine.
Resveratrol can also be found in peanuts, certain pine trees and knotweed. It has numerous health benefits, promotes a healthy longer life to consumers, and is free from unwanted side effects.Resveratrol may help prevent free radical damage over the human body and provide better support to the blood vessels caused particularly by elevated levels of blood glucose. High levels of glucose in the blood may experience cellular damage and develop retinopathy, kidney disease, and heart disease.

I'm considering adding Resveratrol to my routine. This is what I'm currently using: a multi-vitamin once every few days, high dosage fish oil each day, vitamin C each day. I'm eating well, meaning fresh and wholesome food, a minimum of processed food, and water, no other drinks (besides coffee).

I'm just starting to look into the benefits and possible drawbacks of taking Resveratrol, if any. If anyone has some insight to offer regarding this supplement, it would be appreciated.

Resveratrol is also considered an anti aging agent mainly because it is an antioxidant that can eliminate what they call "free radicals" that are detrimental to the body. Resveratrol then slows down aging as it protects the body cells.
