Can you be allergic to your own sweat?
I always seem to get really itchy when I start to perspire at the gym. Sometimes I even get bumps on my arms when I scratch so much... The itching lasts even after I towel off the sweat and it's really annoying! It doesn't happen to anyone else I know who works out so I'm wondering if it's possible that I'm allergic to my sweat somehow...

Check the term “dermography” or “dermatography” in the web (it leterary means: "writing on the skin"), just in case you are “suffering” from this. It is not allergy. It’s not serious, neither something dangerous, but science is not yet sure about what causes it. I have a hint that one of the reasons causing it may have to do with excessive body work.
