Subject: About third eye meditation

Hi,

I just discovered tonight that since I was a child, I have been experimenting with third eye meditation.

I randomly found out about Agna Chakra or the Third Eye on internet today and did some more research. I have found some meditation techniques on various sites like this one : https://www.yoga.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=23082&posts=2 or the part about the light in the head on this page : http://deoxy.org/psychedelicyoga.htm

This really excite me because I have been doing this and have atteined 'peaks' as a very young kid (I can remember having a very profound experience related to the third eye at the age of 8 (I'm 21 now)).

I also often experience a buzz where the third eye is located. Either by just concentrating on it or approaching a pencil or a finger close to it. I remember putting my forehead close to my brother's as a kid just to feel the thickling.

There's one thing though. I hadn't experienced with the long sessions, ending with the 'peak', in a long time and now it kind of hurt when I did it. The strain on my eyes is really uncomfortable. That's probably why I stopped and forgot about all of that. Maybe I decided it was bad for me when I was younger.

Could any of you point me in a direction to learn more about that? Or tell me about what they know? I don't think this is something usual to do instinctively as a kid.

Thanks a lot for reading!
