Subject: Kudalini DVDs/Videos

Hey everyone!
I decided to also pick up kundalini yoga with my other yoga practice (ashtanga). I am a home practitioner and i know everyone is going to say I should get a teacher or go to a class, but with my experience of ashtanga for about 6 months I think i am pretty good self teacher.
anyway, can anyone suggest any kundalini dvds that they have tried and were successful?
i guess the definition of success here is waking up/or begging to wake up kundalini.

thank you

The best one I have seen is by Gurmukh "Kundalini Yoga." I did it off and on for 3-4 years and then did it for over 3 months straight at home. Now I am practicing in the studio with her and the other teachers. I love it!!!

There are many DVD/CD etc available. but i want to suggest to you about a book, this book name is " Understanding the Kundalini ".

Understanding the Kundalini is an important work on demystifying the kundalini energy. It is designed for students and provides a quality introduction to the kundalini energy, its role, and function from the traditional view.

I also do ashtanga at home, but lately have been wondering about kundalini yoga. Ashtanga is too long for me to also include another yoga so maybe I will replace it with K yoga. I once had a powerful kundalini awakening (not related to any yoga) and would like to tap into that again.

Is kundalini less likely to be stirred by doing ashtanga? Or is kundalini yoga the way to go for kundalini activation?

If you enjoy the asana of Ashtanga yoga then you may find the type of asana in Kundalini unsatisfying...........
David Swenson has some short forms of Ashtanga you could try or try some Vinyasa Flow......I find strong dynamic asana practice gets energy flowing.....not sure if it is Kundalini rising......but make me feel fab....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l--tSG9P37w&feature=related

I would go for Richard Freemans Ashtanga DVD, I like it more than David Swensons.
