Subject: Aim of Yoga

I have just finished the Teacher Training Course just 2 weeks ago which include 1 hr. practical class along with 1 hr. Theoritical class. In the theoritical portion. I learned about "PATANJALI YOG SUTRAS", "HATHA YOGA" & "GITA YOGA (defining Gyan Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga). The class was wonderful. From this class I realized that the Yoga Education in the science of Pshycology not any miraculous object (I used to understand before). From the "PATANJALI YOGA SUTRA" three major sutras are as follows.
1. Yoga is the state of mind with the absence of inclinations.
2. In this state the viwer / Yogi / person remains in his/her original form.
3. In other state the Person ressembles himself/herself in the inclined form.

After this three Sutras (theories) I have to say that all most all people of the world is inclined in any object then who is real Yogi?

I want to put this question in this foroum. Can any body help me, plz...

The answer to your question is as follows:

There are two parts to the yogi, one who is currently practicing yogi, and the other who has completed the practice and achieved perfection.

Your three statements deal with the one who is of the second kind. All others are either NOT Yogi or of the first kind.

Namaste.
