Subject: Prayer

I am looking for the opening prayer used in Hatha Yoga. I am trying to learn it but would be easier (for me) to have the written words. I am sorry but the Astanga Prayer is not the prayer I am looking for but thanks any-way for the information. Catherine

Please email me. Due to request from my past TTs I have created an Audio that a) instructs how to chant this prayer. b) meaning of the prayer c) I can give you the text also on the CD. IT SHALL COST YOU.

Catherine - can you give us more of a clue of what you are looking for? Different schools of yoga use different invocations. In Iyengar yoga we begin with an invocation to Patanjali which I believe is available to hear at BKSIyengar.com

Darling Catherine: It costs because: It was produced for my Teacher Trainees. Teacher Training almost always costs. My cost is due to my time in producing it. If you can not afford it, it is free for you. "Spreading word using internet also costs internet fees". My question to you is:

Why should it not cost?

Please answer the above question.

The above prayer is the one I learned in Sivananda Yoga Teacher's Training. enjoy.
