Subject: mind/body changes?

After focusing on void meditation for about a year now. I've started to perceive changes in my mind and body during and after meditation.

It all started with a hold/cold tingly sensation on my lower back and sometimes skipping along to the top of my head. Sometimes I can move this sensation around my body with my awareness of it.

Now I feel this sensation throughout the day sporatically and without thinking about it. Is this normal?

Also, for those more experienced with meditation. Can you advice me on what to do with this feeling/energy? It's brings me tremendous happiness and peace at the same time. But I also feel that I should be taking next steps. I just don't know what those steps should be.

Thank you in advance for any advice/pointers.

Question: Where did you get the knowledge of the Void Meditation?

There are various writings and sources that talk about void meditation and describe it as an extended blanking of the mind, in which one attempts to have no thought and no awareness in order to clear ones mind and open oneself up to new understanding. Not to be confused with the void, the Ocean of Illusion surrounding the second and third chakras from what I understand.

Can anyone offer any advice for me to the questions in my original post?

Dear Holomind: I was actually trying to offer the advice you need. It is:

The resources that you used to get the idea of Void Meditation should point you to the next step. Otherwise, you should meet authors/teachers/experts of these resources.

Please note that the above is correct method to proceed.

Meditation heals the inner self. The amount of energy meditation can generate will be simply astounding.Learning the right way of doing meditation is the first thing .For this purpose, we need to have a Guru who will with his experience remove the ignorance and show us the right direction.
