One of the many memorable images Geeta Iyengar gave us this week at our national conference. In pranayama she discussed the image of the inhalation creating a structure similar to building a house. The exhalation needs to retain the structure and not collapse suddenly.

We had a great time with amazing instruction, recited all of the yoga sutras over a couple of days, great food, wonderful company and generally fun. Now back to the "real" world where I don't get dessert twice a day and a nap in the afternoon.

Hi Tourist, I'm glad it all went well. Was this your first time meeting Geeta Iyengar?

Shelley - Geetaji came here in 2001 when I was a new teacher trainee. I was really nervous and the schedule was much more challenging so it was a much more intense experience overall. While not exactly "relaxing," this time was a better pace for me and since I can now eat at suppertime I was not so consumed with thinking about food Though the food this time was good enough to keep it in mind a lot.
