I seem to be but I'm still having trouble disgesting certain kinds of food. Anything very plentiful in veggies sees my transit slow right down with accompanying bloating. The doctor here says they normally test first and then give bug-specific treatment. The doctor in Egypt just bombarded me with broad-spectrum anti-biotics which, I've now found out from web-reading today can be counter-productive in the case of Salmanella. I think they've probably wiped out all my good guys too - reason why cellulose is a problem for me right now? I've been eating live yogurt since I got back which has helped a bit. As has ginger with respect to the acid reflux.

This is the first gastric thing I've had since I was about 14-15 (now 44) so I guess I shouldn't moan about it but, WTH, I'm going to anyway
