Back atcha ML! I bought Mr. Tourist some 5 year aged cheddar that is ridiculously expensive for day to day (he eats waaaaay too much cheese) but is perfect for a Valentine treat. He is going to be so happy. Plus a nice local red wine, some Raincoast crips crackers (I saw them in Whole Foods in Las Vegas - try them if you see them) and of course, some chocolate.

I love that OLD cheddar!!! Mmmmmmm!!! I probably eat too much cheese too! But it's yummy!

We're playin' it low key tonight.. just some dinner and hanging out here at the house with our little valentine!

I promised myself that I would eat no more chocolate because I had my fill of Italian candy...it's so yummy, those nougat things made out of egg whites and pistachio's are to die for....until yesterday someone brought me a box of turtles. Gosh, I just can't resist them darn things. I had 2 yesterday and 2 today. Thank goodness there are only 6 in the box....which means I can either stay on my roll and eat 2 tomorrow, or save them for a day when I'm down and need one of those chocolate pick me ups, Oh well...tomorrow is another day.

Happy Valentines Day Ya'll. Have you ever read the story about St. Valentine?? It's really depressing,

BTW, I can't believe that Ruby has grown that much...Wow!! She's so cute.

I always had a thing for girls in red dresses Happy Valentine's Day ladies.

Cyndi, I read the St. Valentine's story to my class tonight--tried to keep it from being depressing and focused on the love--then did partner yoga--it was hysterical.

Cyndi- I forgot to add that I can't believe Ruby is already a month old!! She is acting older though- she's already smiling... it's amazing!

Bruce- thanks!

I saw there was a show on the history channel not about St. Valentine, but about the Valentine's Day massacre... I didn't watch it though- didn't want to ruin the moment!

I look at this way...that nougat candy is made with healthy egg whites and pistachio's...sugar is the last ingredient I think about, heehee. This is actually Italian wedding candy. Oh well, doesn't matter, soon all of it will be gone and I shall have no more nougat,
