Subject: The Optimist Creed

Dear All,
Found this the other day, and it really touched my heart. I can't wait to share this to All.

best regards,
alex

The Optimist Creed

PROMISE YOURSELF:

• To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind
• To talk Health, Happiness, and Prosperity to every person you meet
• To make all your friends feel there is something in them
• To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true
• To think only the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best
• To be just enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own
• To forget the mistakes of the past and press onto the greater achievements of the
future
• To wear cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a
smile
• To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to
criticize others
• To be to large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and to happy to
permit presence of trouble
• To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but
in great deeds
• To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the
best that is in you

Note: “The Optimist Creed” was first published in 1912 in Christian D. Larson’s book, Your Forces and How to Use Them. A shorten version of it is used today by Optimist International, a worldwide group of people who are focused on making a positive difference in the world.

This is also a part of Joe Vitale’s book The Key

I just wrote some stuff in my journal last night that goes along the same lines as your post

"the true master speaks only of what she/he is for If one hand is trying to lift up while the other hand is trying to suppress, you can only lift so high, If you lift with both hands you will reach new heights"
