| This is a thought that crossed my mind:
When a particular posting is deleted by a moderator for in-appropriate-ness, they should delete it, but they should also send a message (PM or EMail) to the poster stating:
posted message - plus brief reason for deletion.
This way, the poster does not wonder whether he/she forgot to submit, forgot to post, or it was deleted after posting.

| Right your are Brother Neel--that usually happens as far as I know. Do you know of a specific incident not handled that way? |

| No,no, no BBB. I just thought of this. I have no event where it was not followed. I just thought of suggesting. No disrespect meant.

| Well unless there was a glitch in the software I had a post zapped with no feedback and began to think "what s going on?". It was responding to a joke (and the joke could have been viewed as being in poor taste - that's all I can imagine that was wrong with it) but a lot of jokes are like that.
Maybe an update to the message saying why it was zapped?

| Wasn't me who was the "doer" John. Sometimes, there are minor glitches to the interface. I always recommend if you are thinking of doing a well thought out post, do it in an editing program rather than live should a glitch occur. |

| I don't always pm those I zap, but they are usually spammers, who don't deserve any more of my time. I'll try to notify anyone I zap for other reasons. I don't recall zapping any jokes or replies. I have had things disappear in the past and sometimes they were just glitches and sometimes it turned out I was searching in the wrong thread. |

| Thanks Mish, a couple of them have worked out. I'll probably never stop trying though. |
