Subject: Colon rejuvenation at age 40?

Hi All!

I just want to share this wild phenomenum happening with my body.

I am 40 and my bowels are moving 2-4 a day! This is amazing since never, in all my life, has this happened....not even in my high school years. Most of my life, even eating a whole foods, plant based diet and exercising almost everyday, I would "go" only once and even have sluggishness. Now that is not the case!

I am not sure why. My diet hasn't changed. I've been doing yoga since I was 25 off and on and in the past I did it much more. I had been taking various fiber supplements off and on but still, I never had this much "energy" in my bowels until this year.

The *only* thing I can think of it being is maybe my practice in Kundalini? I really got into it this last summer. I am not doing it right now, though, yet my bowels are still as moving. I do do the Five Tibetans occasionally.

Anyway, I just wanted to share because I think it's totally cool one's bowels can improve so much at my age. Should give hope. This has never happened to me before and it feels healthy and good.

Just for the record...things I do to keep things running smoothly:

Gentle Fiber supplement, alfalfa tabs (tones colon), abdominal exercises, whole foods, and the twists and turns I do when I do get on the mat.

All my life I've been trying to slow my down!!!

Its interesting you make the parallel with your kundalini. When I have been to the ashram my bowels auto-regulate. I have seen the connection many times.
