We've had sub zero and a couple of inches of snow here. I went and bought snow boots. Now the "pineapple express" is blowing in from Hawaii with 12 degree C. and a perfect deluge of rain. WE are indeed the "wet coast" right now Why didn't I buy rain boots?????

I saw my first snow flurries today! And we are expecting some light snow showers on Wed!! Yea!! Winter's here!!

Sorry Bruce, but those weird, warm Texas Christmases freaked me out... I like it cold in December!

Around this time of year, I curse my not writing a better thesis (so I could get a warm weather job).

yesterday I went out for a 10 mile training walk; it was in the 50's when I left. I didn't check the weather forecast prior to leaving.

About mile 4 into it, a wind whipped up, the temperature dropped about 10 F (4-5 C) and it started to POUR. I didn't have a jacket and when I finally made it home (after being chased by a dog!), I was beet red.

But I found myself using "yoga breathing" to retain body heat; this really helped!

Looks like you guys are really suffering down there Bruce..... Here, I'm debating whether to ride my bike in 40 degree weather, or put it up for the winter....

We've had snow since Thanksgiving. Yesterday school was cancelled because of more snow, and there's quite a bit out there.

PS. Bruce, your picture is beautiful, all it needs are some snow flurries flying around.

Oh my Gosh, I love that place in San Antonio BB.. I'm coming to your place next...I really am!!!

No Snow here in the mountains..YET. I'm trying to get things done around here so I can leave for a month. I hate to say it, but, please, we don't need any snow right now...but, we sure could use the RAIN...poor Atlanta which is due South of me is really suffering....so when all ya'll's snow melts, I hope it washes down to Lake Lanier, which is almost all dried up,
