| OK so i get these kind of CRAZY ideas sometimes, and I experiment.
I decided to buy organic, natural peanut butter that, when sits, the oil rises to the top. I poured all the oil off the top. (my boyfriend thinks i'm crazy ) Now, It's kind of a little bit thicker, but the thing i notice the most is that it isn't as sweet. Also, It's a little bit more "pasty" but Whatever, still love it.
ANYWAY, how much of the fat do you guys thing i poured off the top?! I ohhh sooo LOVEEEEE my peanut butter but, hate the fat.
Think any other crazy person has done this, and tested the nutrition facts? Also, think i lost a lot of the other nutritional values?
(p.s. I'm not REALLY crazy just super happy!! loving my bikram too much ) |

| I wouldn't pour off all the oil, then it's not like peanut butter anymore. More like peanut sludge. Maybe try pouring off only part if you want to do that. |

|
| Better yet, buy some peanuts and grind your own without any additives. |
|
|
|
| Please, very carefully pour whatever peanut oil or any other part from your peanut butter in a glass jar or jars. And, send them to me. Thanks in advance.

You could saute' your veggies or use it for all your oil lamps on your alter. I prefer sesame, so does Laxmi...and most importantly, she also loves the beeswax, |

| I give BeeWax to Laxmiji. I can take peanut or sesame or olive (!) for my sauteeing, actually just pour raw on my vege dishes. |

Location: canada | isn't it supposed to be the "good" fat?? also now that the oil is gone how do you stir the peanut butter?? or do you?? the oil actually makes it creamy so it actually spreads easily on whatever you're putting it on. |

| Hey fetcher. Do not reveal all these advantages. You are causing me a loss. I mean you are preventing me from having that oil!!! |

| Neel, I do wish I had read that post sooner!! I must admit that I wasted the oil. The nut butter with the oil was quite good though. he peanut butter wasn't sludge-y infact, it was more thick and stuck to your mouth. (i removed the natural lubricant, so what did i expect?!) Well anyway, I enjoyed it, and everyone else hated it!
The next thing I plan on tackling is almond butter. Anyone have experiences with that?! I cant wait to go tonight and get some before my Bikram class!!!
Neel, do you REALLY want the oil from all my crazy experiments?!?! |
