Location: New York | It looks like a stuffed animal. How big is it, compared to the cat? |

Location: Somewhere in the Mountains of Western NC | He's no where near the size of a stuffed animal...he's a catapillar of some sort. It took several photos to get him focused so you could see him clearly. Pygmy Puff was playing with him....she had him in her mouth, throwing him in the air. She's such a biatch cat!
If you look at him closely on his tail....there is a little spike on it.

| Neat! I'm going to guess some sort of slug, but I could also see it being a caterpillar. |

| That's the most bad a$$ caterpiller I have ever seen!! The spike! The huge eyes! You're cat's lucky she didn't take a spike to the heart!
I was going to guess some mudbug from the "crick" <-- what they say in west-by-God-VA for creek!
Cool!

| i've seen one similar in NJ while hiking. he was bright green with blue spots down the side, a big spike on one end, and when you got close to him, he started puffing up and red spots started to surround the blue. he was telling us how dangerous he was/is! we moved him off the trail--he was very cool.
your guy looks more browns and such... really beautiful. |
