I would recommend it, I didn't see any Jr. tourists, but it was fun and inspiring.

It is an amazing doc, isn't it? We (of course) loved it. I found the comments of the teachers in the lower income schools very poignant. They knew that this might be the last big highlight of these kids young lives, that some would go on fairly soon to make bad choices and not live the hopeful, joyful lives they had at the time. Maybe, just maybe, that little taste will help one or two of them.

We have a local high school program with our ballroom dance society that started last year. I wish I had time to help volunteer with them! We went to see the final competition and the energy in the room was outstanding. We even got scanned by the local TV crew and it showed on the air. The voice over was talking about "excited parents" and even though none of them were our kids, we felt pretty proud. Our kid's high school won the standard (waltz and foxtrot) event!

Hi Tourist, I thought you would like it, I should have known you seen it already. Some of those kids had real style on the dance floor, and I didn't envy the judges one bit.
