Yoga -> Ashtanga Yoga	Message format

Hello all, I was wandering if someone could help me, I started practicing yoga in Jan this year, then 6 weeks ago I bought Niki Doanes DVD Ashtanga for beginers, then I was hooked the only thing is I run out of energy and I can only practice along with the DVD every other day. can anyone give me any tips, and/or recomend other DVDs or books I can get. Thanks in advance Bill

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the forum.

If you are practising Ashtanga Yoga without a teacher, then Niki Doane's dvd is an excellent choice.

It does take a while to build up the stamina in an Ashtanga practise, so my advice would be to stick with Niki Doane's dvd until it becomes easier for you.

A good book reference is david Swenson's Ashtanga Yoga Practise Manual.
