nice I like it because it's true.

I've got a LAN party planned on the first weekend of October, I kinda think of it as a new way of coming together, so we'll see.

I've been to some LAN parties, and I always wonder why we bothered to move our computers. Instead of being far away from each other, we're all in the same room, but the situation is unchanged.

well, all of us are kinda old, like in our mid to late thirties and we'll probably do a little gaming, then go out and do some other stuff.....

One of the fellas has all sorts of stuff that he wants to share about being in his unit on the streets in Iraq.

He says that things are just a 'bit' different than what we see on the tube.

I've got my hopes up, thinking this could be pretty neato, it'll be my first one, and these fellas have been to a couple, I'm kinda hoping it can be a new thing----some of us are bringing our kids--I'm bringing my son.

It's in Pittsburgh---some folks are coming from TX, GA, OH, PA, MD, NY, ME, all over CA---some of us really want to catch a Steeler's game while we're in town, so---like I said, we'll see.

GJ - it is a great article. I think I have read some of this guy's stuff before. Very much to my liking...

So in the spirit of becoming more like a real life annoying friend, can I interest you in coming over to help move furniture before my family comes to visit?

Wow, that does sound like fun. A couple of the ones I've been to here have been several of us all in one room playing the same game. Last time it was a first person shooter called Battlefield 2142, which is pretty cool. By being in the same room we could co-ordinate back and forth.

Sure, just send me a grand to pay for the trip up there. You know how it is with us motorcycle guys, we just need an excuse for a trip.

My darling daughter I am just a little bit excited and only a tiny bit worried about the weather. I am sure it will be fine

...OK, a small insecure bit worried that the strapless dress I made her might suffer some mishap....

Congratulations! That's wonderful news. You'll have to post some pics of the wedding. (Preferably of the bridesmaids )

Yeah, mine too. I'd post the article, but the site is cool, and you'd miss out on all the cool pics.
