Last night I did a posture that I'm not familar with. I think I've seen in in Light on Yoga, but I can't remember what it was.

Okay, starting by seating down and bend our knees and walked our hands back a little. The we took the right foot and twisted to the left and put our foot in the right arm pit.

The first version was a twist. The second was an arm balance called dragonfly. The third version I was asked to do something different with the other leg. I dont' know what I did, but I brought the other leg out to the side and received this amazing groin stretch. I don't know what to call it..

Wow, That looks like a challenge!

Was this taught by your A. G Mohan teacher?

My teacher did give the posture a few weeks ago. But he is a even harder. He was also trying to get me into "double dragon fly." (with both feet on my arms in a arm balance). I have not been back since!

But this was in a regular vinyasa yoga class. One of the students did dragonfly, but I was the only one given Yoga Dandasana.

Well. It is challenging. But I'm pretty flexible. I think being tall. I'm 6'1" helps. But I didn't realize that you are suppose to move the other leg to the side, so last night was unusual.

So, if I don't like something I write. I can edit it or ask tourist to delete it?

Also, who decide on the expert yogi, veteran status? How does that work?

TE - Bruce or I can edit for you if you go past the time you can do it yourself. I just changed it because I don't like scrolling across

The veteran etc. stuff is strictly done by number of posts, so don't be too influenced by them! Some of us are just regular folk who are very, very persistent

Though I think that if you can get your foot in your armpit, you can have any status you want.
