Subject: Sinus pressure relief?

I've experience this technique myself, during a regular facial. My husband is suffering terribly with sinus pressure and congestion. Is there some place where I can learn the technique?

Is this what you're looking for? I just did a google on "sinus pressure points" and it was the first hit.

I suggest the following: a) NOT use any techniques. b) Find the real cause of this problem and try to address. c) If b can not be done, then do what you think you should do otherwise. But, if you cannot find b anywhere, do contact me.

Neel,
Thanks for the offer
The cause is seasonal...we live at high altitude (7500) where the air is dry and sinus congestion is a common problem for many.

hm. that is interesting because all the persons who came to me for sinus problem, none of them was from dry weather. i thought the perosns in humid air have more sinus problems.

But, the real problem in most cases is BAD Diet. It is jokingly called as Standard American Diet or SAD Diet.

I'm glad to say that, that is something we have never partaken of! We were 100% vegetarian for more than 25 years, have NEVER eaten white bread or other processed foods...can't think why anyone does!!!!
Frankly, I wouldn't touch the "Standard American Diet" with a ten foot pole!

Re: Dry air and nasal symptoms. It's common for people coming to high altitude to develop "crud" in the nasal passages due to dry air. Many visitors will tell you they suffered from nose bleeds when at altitude.
Hubby's problem is partly hereditary too. HIs father had sinus problems to the point of needing surgery.

Anyhoo!

Namaste

From what you wrote, it seems that your hubby problem is structural or constitutional. Is it possible to choose low altitudes? You are courageous to discard SAD diet and I bow down to you. You will be one in thousands who took that step.
