What books do you recommend? I am quite fascinated with this kind of yoga and like to read more about it.

So bring it on!

Love,
Jenny

Isola: I am writing impartially. You posted your question in Kundalini Yoga. If you mean the style of Yoga Instruction called Kundalini as now a days you see with teachers with turban at times (I am not against turban, just using this sign to indicate what I meant), then the book from Sis Tourist is not the one you need. But, book by Radha will be great no doubt.

I'm interested to learn more about the philosophy behind Kundalini as well as the yoga form, the breathing teqniques and so on.

I'm interested to learn more about the philosophy behind Kundalini as well as the yoga form, the breathing teqniques and so on.

I suggest you the following:

a) Go to a well known Kundalini Yoga school. And, you shall find the material in their school boutique.

b) To know other part of Kundalini in general, read 'Kundalini Yoga' by Bipin Joshi. He is one of the board members. And, then follow the gloassary at the end of it.

I am only answering your question, and not recommending the above two.

You are right Neel - I was hasty. The book I suggested will not give you all the fast and intense breathing stuff that I think they teach these days. But it will give you a lot to think about and move toward some intense self-study.

"Kundalini for Beginners" by Ravinda Kumar, Ph.D.

A little deep but good if your interested in Kundalini Philosophy.

There is no Kundalini-studio within... Well, I wonder if there is a good Kundalini-studio in this country!

I'm not looking for books to learn to practice from, I just want to read about it but prefer books over reading on a website (plus that there is a chance that the book is translated into Swedish).

I will check out the book you mentioned, thanks!
