Subject: The Truth About Food

The BBC have been running a servies of TV programmes that examine commonly held beliefs about food and testing what works and what does not when trying to maintain a healthy diet and weight.

Try to catch the programmes or visit their site as the information is amazing :

Hey Fee, That show looks quite interesting. Wish I could get the BBC channels..I'd watch it too.   You can keep us posted with the important stuff if you like,

Take care,

The link pretty much covers all the stuff aired. In fact, it probably has more than's in each programme. Admittedly, (as an example) only the TV programme can convey the true joy of seeing hefty truck drivers being shown that there are healthy options to eat at the wheel and the effects (somewhat graphic) of their existing fare (you do *not* want to know how they know how long it takes for a meat pie to go through a truck driver!).

There are some fun quizes included.

Sounds like fun. I looked at the link when you did the original post, but I'll be darned if I know how to view any of the content. I can see the various categories and such, and the text teaser for each seperate clip, but I'm not seeing the clips themselves.

That's a shame GJ. The articles cover everything in the programmes so I think you'll still get something out of them. I seem to remember that the Beeb's help pages cover what you need for their streaming media content. The news pages' clips I can view in either Real Media or Windows Media player. If you have either of those and still don't get a player window open when you click on the clip, perhaps you have a security setting set that's blocking streaming media?
