Subject: Emotional Freedom Technique?

Does anyone know anything about this? It seems to offer to work wayyyyyyyyy too quickly to be true. Dr. Mercola(who I believe offers the best information on things except for his low carb high protein diet view) mentions this a lot as a cure for emotional problems.
