Subject: A new meditation idea

I just came up with a new meditation idea for resolving supressed emotions. Here it is:

Imagine a white rope reaching for infinity and you are at the other side of it. This rope is your mind. And as you look at it you see there are hundreds of knots on it, and inside them there are your pains originated during a disturbing event. As you pull the rope those knots will get loose, you already have the power to do so, the only thing you need is understanding and regarding those knots, for they think they're protecting you. But you know it is safe to loosen them now and you have faith that they will cause they're still a part of you. Now you hold the bar tied to the tip of the rope with both your hands, close your eyes in your mind's eye and slightly lean back. The rope is strong enough to carry you and you have a support sticked to the floor so you don't slip and fall. Choose a random knot on the rope and just have faith that it will get loose. As they do so your pains will fall into your conscious awareness and get resolved so you move on with the next knot.
