Subject: Kayakalpa Yoga for ovarian cys

Hi,

I am new to this board.. so forgive me if this topic has already been posted.

I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). I read that Kayakalpa Yoga helps a lot for women who have PCOS. http://www.vethathiri.org/vethathirianscience/benefitsofkayakalpayogaoverPCOSpatients

I have been trying to find what are the postures and techniques of doing the Kayakalpa yoga and haven't been able to find it yet.

Does anybody know or have practiced this yoga ? I will be really grateful if anybody who knows about this can let me know.

Hi ketsara and welcome:-) Did you notice the study only looked at 10 women? I wouldn't put too much importance on the form of asana (yoga exercises) the study used. Most forms of well established asana programs will improve the health of almost everyone who practices them. Look around and see what you have locally - look for a teacher with lots of experience and education and take some classes. Yoga won't cure everything, but it makes pretty much everyone feel good

.... Yes I did notice the study was done on only 10 women...but I just want to give it a try anyway..Thanks for ur suggestions.

This question should be addressed to the institute you quoted. The website states: kalpa means immortal and that is wrong. Also, immortality is impossible.
