a lot of what you write in your last post is really valuable. it certainly aligns with my perspective. In general, my classes are so small and each student is working on something specific that assuming safety has been met, beyond this each student does get individualized attention. it's why i prefer smaller classes. but in bigger classes, it certainly follows the structure that you mention.
