Congratulations!  I considered going to massage shool awhile back, but decided it wasn't for me.  The best thing I can advise to do is to look up a database of massage therapists on the internet, (do a google search saying "massage therapists in(insert your city, state), and then email every one that has an email address asking for their advice and experiences.  I did that, and I got loads of responses.  I even got an offer to be an apprentice, and a couple of them checked back in with me a few months later to see about my decision.  It was their advice that helped me to make my decision to not go to massage therapy school.  Which in my case was the right decision.  In your case though, they can give you advice on where to look for jobs, what to look out for, etc.  Good Luck!

Hi Miabella, I am doing the same, starting in March! I am going for massage and bodywork- 2 nights a week for one year. I would rather go 3 or 4 nights a week and be done in 6 months, but the school I chose doesn't have that schedule. On weekends I can take electives (Reiki, aromatherapy etc. ) How about you? I'd be very interested in hearing about how it is going once you start.
