Subject: New teacher last night

Seems like this studio that I like has each teacher with a area they love, and they like to work it with a vengeance. Hour and half class she attack the hamstrings and attack them over and over. Triangle lasted for about 1/2 hour then warrior long night on the hams. This morning I hobbled to the shower, as I type this post from work I can still feel my hams. Anyone out there ever had a class in where you stay in the pose forever? Sure you can take a break when you want and go back into it when you are ready.

And yes I will still go back. MY favorite teacher is the one I can the back bending freak. Think I will call the new teacher the Hamstring girl.

Sounds like my Iyengar teacher. I think she throws in a 'focus on x' class whenever the majority of us have been doing x disaster-asana style in previous classes. I never knew there were so many ways of practising the leg position for triangle pose for example!
