Subject: Iyengar DVD/Video

I've taken a look at the Iyengar stuff in the shop here but have come to the conclusion I haven't a clue which would be the best for me to buy. I am a newbie as far as Iyengar goes but do have two year's Bihar School of yoga experience. I'm looking for something that will take me through a full body work-out. Any advice pathetically gratefully received.

Thanks,

Fee

Fee - I am just not into dvd's for practice so I am not much help."The "big" book, Path to Holistic Health, would be great, though.

If you Brits get the Gaiam videos, Suzanne Deason and Patricial Walden are Iyengar trained and have DVD's available.

Orbilla:
If you are particular about Iyengar Style, I suggest the following:

send an email or mail to Senior Iyengar Teachers (this information you can easily find), and ask them the question exactly what you asked in the original post.

Thanks for the input. I've just spoken to an Iyengar teacher locally who's preapred to let me join class a week late. I asked about the DVDs as I find them useful for home practise until I have a routine memorised.
