Dear PinupYogi:
I am glad that you asked this question. While doing anything in Yoga, no severe pain should come. So, you must stop the way you are doing it. You must find another way to do it or learn it from an experienced person.

Best Luck.

There is good pain and pain bad(even at the severe levels) Yoga is life and there is pain in life.It is just very important to be able to be able to know between the good and the bad pain

Save ur jokes for somewhere else or at least dont direct them where ur statement could actually harm others. There are some people out there after reading your statementwho would put thought into taking a garden hose to thier nostrils to clear them out .Which could really mess things up for them.

I take a scoop of water and inhale it into each nostril and blow it back out, very simple and does the trick
Id be careful not to blow your airdrums doing that.Which can happen .

I think you made a smart decision .find someone who knows the in' and out's of using a neti pot so they can show you face to face.
.U can damage your air drums doing this practice wrong ...

Bradly - welcome to our boards You might want to check out the dates on the posts you are replying to, since this one was started in 2005. It is highly unlikely the original poster is still around. Did you mean EAR drums?
