Subject: What is safer???


Since I injured my back (a vertebra moved and some times pressures my intercostals nerves producing some pain),
I want to know which one will give me more benefits yoga or pilates.

Either one will help you, but be sure any instructor you see knows about your condition and you have your doctor's permission/advice about starting any training program.

I agree with reinbeau. You can get great benefits from both, or you can re-injur yourself in both. It's all about the instructor.

Make sure you do your homework to find out the experience level of some Pilates and yoga instructors, and pick the most qualified to deal with back injuries.
