Hey everyone! I'd like to know if any of you do reformer work and matwirk in one session. For example doing matwork immediately after the reformer session?

I'm thinking of doing just because I get a better " massage/stretch action " from the matwork, but the apparatus is great for the knees.

nromally when i take privates, they always take me through part mat and part reformer in my session. i never just work on one thing. If you're talking about doing mat class and then working on apparatus that can sometimes be too much for your body.

This is a home workout. And I'm doing like the the advanced reformer workout minus the long/short box series. After the this workout,I do some matwork exerecises like roll-up,roll over, ball,ab series, teaser, neck pull e.t.c.

I make sure I'm not duplicating anything from the reformer workout like the hundreds, twists, jackknife e.t.c.
I feel much better when I mix it like this than when i do ust the machine work.
