Yes:

1. Focus on the upper chakras.

2. Do not think of ejaculation.

You might want to read about Ayurvedic methods. Search Ayurveda and orgasm together on google. I do not think yoga has orgasm control as most yoga exercise are for control of temptations and body uniting with mind. Sex is outward expression of body and yoga is inward control of mind, body.

I just wanted to correct the nathss statement, with no offense of course, but my original answer stays as it is.

There are actual methods in Hathayoga as well as Rajayoga for control of sex, etc.

How does this type of yoga relate with Kamasutra or is this a topic that is taboo and not discussed?

Cyndiben:

1. Kamasutra is for Enjoying the Sex in an organized way. What the organization means, see it there. Kaamsutra is useful in a very limited way for those who have common sense. Otherwise, it is very harmful. Kamasutra has NOTHING to do with pure Yoga and does not help Yoga practice in any way. It makes the family life happy and thereby it may bring some peace for a householder's yoga practice, indirectly.

2. Controlling Organism is opposite of the above and has a different purpose. I can not teach this topic on the net.

3. What is called as some kind of sensual poses in the current market books on Yoga, and even to some extent (NOT always) in some Partner Yoga books (NOT all), is ridiculous practice and is anti yoga in terms of the goal of Yoga.

That's putting it mildly. Most stuff on Tantric Yoga, for example, has nothing to do with
yoga or tantra. Then we have the eternally-misunderstood YabYum statuary...

"How does this type of yoga relate with Kamasutra or is this a topic that is taboo and not discussed? "

This is an interesting question.

In the west Tantra is considered some special type of sex, with some nice spiritual-sounding words such as "oneness", "compassion", etc.. being added. [Interestingly in Nepal (and I assume in India too) Tantra in normal conversation is associated with magical spells and the such, not with sex. I geuss all societies misinterpret Tantra differently.]

The part of Tantra that in the west has had the most interest, and has come to become "Tantra" in the west is the coupled Tantric practices. These are done in sexual-like positions and externally seem like sex. As the Kamasutra is dated to roughly a Tantric era (usually 3rd-7th century), people of course assume that the Kamasutra is the same coupled Tantra.

Now this is not the case, because the goals of the two are different. In tradition there are said to be four goals in life: Dharma, Artha (financial success, there is an old and well-written text called the Artha-Shastra), Kama (sensual fulfillment) and Moksha (liberation)

The purpose of Tantric practices is always Moksha, whereas the Kamasutra's purpose is Kama of course. According to both Buddhist and Hindu tantra, as you approach an orgasm, the energy winds enter the central channel (at the moment of orgasm they are completely in the central channel). However, straight after the orgasm the energy will once again disperse. In Tantric energy work, one attempts to put the energy winds into the central channel and then let them dissolve. This gives rise to very subtle levels of non-conceptual awareness. So in coupled-tantra one tries to use techniques to make this process easier...

However, to do this properly one has to already be free from sexual desire, otherwise sexual tension will develop at not being able to complete the act as it were. Unless sexual desire is gone, coupled Tantra is completely uselss and does more harm than good. Also most Tantrikas wouldn't practice in coupled fashion because it is only needed for less competent practioners or older practioners with less vitality.

The Kamasutra is using positions and concepts that may have been derived from tantra to some extent, but the purpose here is to fulfill the desire completely, not to work with the internal energy to attain advanced mental states,

Regards.
