Probably the Krithi´s problem is that her period is not regular and she is worried because this condition could means infertility, hormonal problems, etc.
I think is better to go to an specialistic in women health (I don´t know english name for this kind of MD) but I reed that Yoga can help, specialy some asanas.

By the way, anybody knows about infertility and how YOGA can hepl to improve or eliminate this condition?
I´m interesting in to have knowledge in this matter.

Namaste,

MCBA

Why would you assume krithi has irregular or otherwise periods? It's wrong and silly to make assumptions about any health condition.

Just like it would be silly and unwise to make any assumptions as to why you're infertile.
Have you seen a gynocologist? Do you get regular check-ups? Are you under treatment? Has your partner had his sperm count checked before you go doing all kinds of medical and/or anecdotal things?

No, I won't write off Krithi just because you tell me it's "probably" xxxxx.
Nor would I or anyone else probably offer advice that could be contradictory to what you want to have happen.

Hi Christine,

Probably I couldn´t explain that I tried to say, maybe was because I don´t speak english very well, but it doesn´t matter, I agree with you that is not correct to do "diagnostic" about health of anybody. Beside that, I feel I little bad with your answer becuase was not my intention and I´m new in this forum...

By the way, I don´t have infertility problems, I just interested in this topic becuase one of my friends have it. She has a treatment with gynecologist and she wants an alternative treatment.

Apologize for the inconvenience,
Regards,
MCBA

What you wrote came across as very dismissive of this person's period problems, making assumptions no one could know without talking with her. It really pays to be very specific online, to the point of too much information. That way people know just what we mean and how we intend it to be read. It doesn't look like she was interested, since it appears you and I are the only ones on this thread.

I have to say the same questions I asked of you, thinking you were the one with infertility issues, stand for your friend. We still have no information upon which to base anything 1/2 way on target. Great that she >>has a treatment with gynecologist<< but you just don't apply something generic to an issue with specific problems.

For example: Is she obese? She she undernourished? Anorexic? Does she have endometriosis? Does she have cysts? Does she even have periods? Has she been on birth control for an extended period? Does she have a family history of infertility.

Yoga is not a magic pill. Not for weight loss, short penises, periods or infertility. Is she in the United States? If so, we could look for some reading for her, but I think she's better off talking to an Ayurvedic doctor personally, rather than having a friend (albeit well-intentioned) asking generic questions online.

See what I mean?

OK.
My friend is not in United States, however, she travel to this country sometimes.
I´m going to talk to her and if she wants more information she can join in this forum...
Is better if she give her own explanation.

Krithi,

Not sure what your specific question is regarding period problems. However, I would like to share my experience regarding the common complaint with menstrual problems....PMS.

I have found that since I have been practicing yoga it has helped me tremendously with my menstrual cycle. I had problems with PMS which include symptoms of depression, sleepiness, tiredness, lack of concentration, bloating etc etc....This was crippling my life two weeks a month. Yoga has improved my symptoms 99%. There are months where if I'm not paying attention to the date my period comes as a surprise. The key is to be faithful with my Yoga practice. I normally practice Yoga 4 to 5 days a week if I slack off and time does not permit to practice yoga that much I find some of the PMS symptoms come back. So I know for a fact that Yoga is the answer for me for many more things then just PMS problems, Yoga is my healer for my body & mind. Of course I incorporate the experts the Doctors when needed for the major things.

Namaste,
Tina
