| My hands get so sweaty during my power yago classes that it becomes very hard to hold poses. Is there anything that works to reduce the sweat? It starts right away and continues until the end of class!! |

| I also have a problem with sweating hands. I place a towel under my hands so I have a better grip. The way I look at it is the more you sweat the more you are detoxifing. |

| I too have this problem and I wear thin cotton gloves that I had for running in the cold. This has helped me maintain the poses through a whole yoga session. |

| Hey, I am new to Bikram Yoga, so if you want to talk about sweat, I definatley experience that, however, and this is coming from my teacher, while we are in class she encourages us not to do any "housekeeping" (fixing the mat, the towel, our hair, pulling at our clothes) AND NO WIPING, she says the nature of Yoga is getting total body/mind control, so if we are sweaty and have to grab and ankle or a calf we should be training to do it under any conditions, even if we just jumped out of a vat of oil. I thought she was nuts, but actually it makes you try harder, grip better, breathe better, my advice, is just go with it, deal with the sweat , make it part of your routine--
"here comes the sweat and the challenge" good luck

| My teacher said it was because of the weakness of the body. Keep on practicing, I think it will be better. |

| We carry an antiperspirant lotion, when applied to the hands, removes moisture in 30 seconds and prevents perspiration for up to 4 hours.
It is used for all sports or activities where moisture is a problem.
It is non-sticky and doesn't transfer any stickiness to the mat or get on your clothes. |
