Rheumatoid Athritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is well known condition that is an inflammatory disease. It is thought RA is an autoimmune disease that can become severe. This condition affects the hands, and other joints, leading to painful joints bone erosions. Redness and swelling and in both hands are classic signs and symptoms of RA.

Blood tests and x-rays help confirm this condition. Since this is an inflammatory condition a diet low in pro-inflammatory foods is recommended. Other medications for inflammation and the condition itself are used to treat RA.

Kendra Fessler - 2002-07-08 5:13 PM HI I WAS RECENTLY DIANOSED WITH RHEMOTOID ARTHRITIS, I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS ANYTHING I COULD DO?

Have you investigated instructors in the area that may be experienced in teaching students with RA?  My mom has it and I have been trying for years to get her to go to the instructor I found in our area.  Yoga can be immensely helpful in learning to live with RA.  So long as you practice with a qualified instructor.  Otherwise you could do more damage.

Good Luck!

1. There is nothing new about this condition. It is known for years. And, there is definitely you can do something about it, very easily perhaps.

2. ONLY doing Yoga exercise will not do much in this case. It will be a great contributor, but only partially.

3. You will have to change the life style, no doubt. Otherwise, it is going to be incomplete improvement.

4. And, also you should change the perspective on life.

5. 3 and 4 are the key elements, even more than Yoga Exericse, for your this condition.

Best Luck
