The hydraulic system of injection moulding machine has been changed from valve control to pump control, and the conventional throttle speed control system has been changed into proportional speed control system. The control performance index of the whole machine has been improved and improved. Specifically, the proportional variable pump system has the following advantages besides the advantages of conventional proportional control system:

1. The injection speed of the same power machine can be increased by more than 25%, which is more suitable for thin-wall precision injection. Because the power calculation of ordinary PQ system is based on the pressure-holding state, the power consumption of proportional variable pump system is very low during this operation, so the displacement of oil pump can be increased by more than 25%.

2. The heating of the system is reduced and the service life of hydraulic components is prolonged. The proportional variable system has almost no throttling and overflow losses, and the system runs with fever greatly reduced. Not only can the consumption of cooling water be saved, but also the service life of sealing elements is greatly improved with low oil temperature.

3. Energy consumption is reduced and system efficiency is improved.

4. The NC proportional back pressure control can be realized, and the plasticizing effect has been improved.

5. Hydraulic system pollution level is reduced, system failure is significantly reduced, motion stability is greatly improved, and the use time of hydraulic oil is longer than that of conventional system for more than three years.

Proportional variable displacement pump system has good self-adaptability, its output pressure and flow can be consistent with the load demand. It solves the problem of flow inadaptability and pressure inadaptability of throttle speed control system, greatly reduces energy loss, improves system efficiency, and has obvious energy-saving effect. Compared with ordinary quantitative pump + PQ proportional valve system, it can save 25-45% [1].
