Hi...I'm new to Bikram Yoga but I'm definitely falling in love with it. I've just finished my fourth class. I noticed that I get cold towards the end of the class (one we move down to the ground). I literally feel like I'm shivering sometimes. I know the instructors have said that it's normal to feel a little dizzy, nauseous or some other sensations after certain poses, but the chills??? I notice it the most after the pose where you pull both legs into the chest. (I don't know the names of the poses yet!)

Is it normal that I'm getting cold in a room that's practically on fire?

that sounds like a problem!!!

You could be having a problem with regulating your body temp and doing yourself some harm........being in a very hot environment can cause problems for some people.....go ask your doctor.
