Subject: In the Calm

You cannot see sound, yet it is there.
You cannot hear joy, but it is everywhere.
You cannot forgive without loss of a kind.
You cannot see when you choose to be blind.
You cannot cry without shedding a tear.
You cannot be alone when someone is near.
You cannot feel if callous to touch.
You cannot hope if you don't value much.
You cannot fight for a cause that has died.
You cannot have trust without faith inside.
You cannot climb without having a support.
You cannot grow without steps to report.
You cannot hide when all is made known.
You cannot rest without peace of your own.
You cannot think without clearing your head.
You cannot go forward by reversing instead.
You cannot be sure without using reason.
You cannot sense time when out of season.
You cannot welcome God without a goodbye.
You cannot live unless you first die.
Did you like that poem? If so, try reading more of this author's works. He co-authored the book "College By Twelve" and there you can read how he and his wife raised their first four children to start college by the age of 12. Just go to www.collegebytwelve.com

Dear Davis:
I read one page of the webpage you mentioned. Now, I could not figure out the following:

What does this fantastic poem have to do with Raising Kids to start college by 12.

And, what does starting college by 12 have to do with Calm?

And, if Standford graduate without faith in Christianity is insufficient, how does a child going to college before 12 becomes any better?

And, what does Christianity have to do with Calm?
