Fit Yoga is my favorite new magazine. Mostly because it is based in New York and I know most of the teachers featured in there. It makes me really happy to see my favorite teachers featured in print.


As for YogaFit...c'mon. Why are we even discussing it? It's a sham. YogaFit won't teach anybody to be a good yoga teacher. However, I'm sure some great teachers will get there certs for cheap through YogaFit and be great despite having a YogaFit cert. I know a lot of great yogis that know a ton and can teach now without having any cert but they are the exception, not the rule. Somebody who doesn't know about yoga and goes to YogaFit will probably know less when they leave.

how long is the class GJ?

because $60 is a decent take for a teacher--even an experiencd one--at a studio setting. in gyms and the like, the take is typically less than $35 for the class. some classes only pay me $15. but, i'm willing to teach them because i enjoy them.

Class is about 1/2 hour.

I meant 1 1/2 hour, darn this not being able to edit posts!
