| I posted this on the General Yoga forum and thought the Yoga Teachers forum might be a good place too:
I've had a long journey healing from a difficult experience with a yoga instructor who crosses emotional and sexual boundaries with students, including me. The experience shattered my nervous system and twisted me up for several years. At this point, I'm feeling drawn to gather other stories from students who have experienced a breach of ethics (be it sexual, financial, social, etc). I feel there aren't enough first-person accounts of the real-life, gut-level impacts of breaches of ethics. I hope to compile and share these stories online to help deepen ethics education and to help other students heal. These stories are the foundation for why ethics guidelines exist.
For a fuller understanding, I'd like to get stories about ethics dilemmas from both teachers and students. Confidentiality and anonymity are respected.
