| I am relatively new to Ashtanga Yoga and am loving it.
I am travelling to Northern India in March of next year and was wondering if anyone could suggest a go place for me to continue my practice whilst there.
I am participating in a 10 day tour when I arrive through Rishikesh, Haridwar, Varanasi then I was hoping to base somewhere for a couple of weeks and incorporate Ashtanga then, possible McLeod Ganj.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

| If you want to study with an Authorised or Certified teacher then you'll find the 'official' list here on the AYRI website:

You'll also find teacher lists (more complete ones) on ashtanga.com website.
Neither list is exhaustive - lots of yoga teachers teach the ashtanga vinyasa system without being authorised by AYRI to do so. It doesn't make them bad teachers, but it does make them a bit of an unknown quantity. make sure you do your research first. | |
