Subject: Ashtanga in Northern India

I am relatively new to Ashtanga Yoga and am loving it.
I am travelling to Northern India in March of next year and was wondering if anyone could suggest a go place for me to continue my practice whilst there.
I am participating in a 10 day tour when I arrive through Rishikesh, Haridwar, Varanasi then I was hoping to base somewhere for a couple of weeks and incorporate Ashtanga then, possible McLeod Ganj.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to study with an Authorised or Certified teacher then you'll find the 'official' list here on the AYRI website:
http://www.kpjayi.org/teacher_list.html

You'll also find teacher lists (more complete ones) on ashtanga.com website.

Neither list is exhaustive - lots of yoga teachers teach the ashtanga vinyasa system without being authorised by AYRI to do so. It doesn't make them bad teachers, but it does make them a bit of an unknown quantity. make sure you do your research first.
